Southern Schools Judo Championships

This is not a BJA tournament.
It is designed to introduce players to the format of competition and boost confidence within each individual player.
Please make sure you weigh your child accurately before completing the weight category on the online entry form.
Competitors must be under 13 years old on the day and do not require a BJA licence. Under 8’s are able to compete. No county level, southern area level or higher levels players are permitted. Dropping Techniques will be allowed.
Weigh-in times (these are subject to change, an email will be sent confirming final timings prior to the event):
- All girls – 09.00 am
- Boys under 20kg – 09.00 am
- Boys 20+ kg up to 25.0kg – 10.00 am
- Boys 25+ kg up to 30.0kg – 10.30 am
- Boys 30+ kg up to 35.0kg – 11.15 am
- Boys 35+ kg up to 40.0kg – 11:45 am
- Boys 40+ kg up to 45.0kg – 11:45 am
- Boys 45+ kg and above – 11:45 am
All players will receive a medal. Players will be competing in pools. Medals will be presented at the end of each group contest.
