We are a family run club, who prides ourselves over a friendly atmosphere. We are all enthusiastic about what we do and are willing to help you out to improve as a person as well as a judoka. When you join our big family you have the opportunity to learn judo by our fully trained and experienced coaches, who are:
- Paul Jones – Head Coach
- Jason Fraser – Assistant Head Coach
- Peter Morgan – Coach
Our Judo Club provides judo coaching for all school children and adults, from beginners up to advanced standard. The lessons would operate throughout the school terms on a Saturday.
Each fun packed lesson is £6.50, with the possibility to purchase your very own Judo kit. We accept card and cash.
Interested in Joining?
Just pop along to a class and we can give you a full induction! You can contact us here with any questions before hand, and we look forward to seeing you at our next class!
Once you become a member of our club you’ll get to experience all our activities. Once a term we do our gradings where you can go up a grade and purchase a new belt. You have the choice of taking part in the official British Judo Associate (BJA) grading or in the Paul Jones Club grading. Once you’ve gained a new grading you’ll receive a well-deserved certificate and may even get the chance to move up to the next class!
When training with Paul Jones School of Judo you can enter all the competitions which we hold termly. Our friendly volunteers and coaches will support you, and our competitions accept other schools and clubs around Hampshire so that you’ll get to go against new people!
