What a fab weekend with our first lessons back to Judo.
The 08:45 class for 5 – 7 years, we concentrated on newaza, practicing some of our hold downs getting us back in the swing moving around the body into different positions. Finishing with Judo orientated games.
The 09:30 class for 8 – 12 year olds were just as amazing.
We worked on Judo groundwork drills getting them working fast and explosively. Turnovers to hold downs from a left and right position. Finishing with light Randori just to get them back into throwing.
The last session at 10:15 I welcomed back by teenagers and adults and we worked on linking our strangles, chokes, and arm locks then drilled them finishing with standing Randori keeping it light and technical.
Whether as an adult or you have a teenager who wants to try something new and fancies trying a martial art, or you’ve done Judo in the past. Why not come down and give the class a try.
Or if your child has lots of energy and loves rolling on the ground, play fighting and/or could benefit from building their confidence. Or maybe you have a child who wants to try something different, learning the art of throwing and defending, improving their listening and leadership skills all while having fun, then Judo is the sport for them to try.
Judo helps with discipline, focus, confidence boosting and overall good fun to learn
Why not check out my website for more information and to book onto their first free class.
See you on the Mats
